President Hage Geingob will hold a press conference on Thursday to provide a report on his seven-day State visit to China. The Head of State informed NBC News of the press conference shortly after his arrival on Tuesday at the Hosea Kutako International Airport. Geingob, who was accompanied by an 80-member delegation, met his Chinese counterpart, Xi Jinping, to discuss ways of strengthening ties between the two nations. President Geingob received an honorary doctorate from The Chinese University of Geosciences, the delegation attended several business fora while the countries signed several agreements. The President also stated that he did not go to China to beg.
