The Office of the Prime Minister on the 8th of February announced the transfer of Steve Katjiuanjo from the Ministry of International Relations and Cooperation, to the Ministry of Industrialization, Trade and SME Development as an Executive Director. Katjiuanjo worked, amongst others, as a Deputy Secretary to Cabinet and lately was seconded to MIRCO as High Commissioner to the United Kingdom. Etienne Maritz is transferred from the Office of the President, to the Ministry of Home Affairs and Immigration. Moses Pakote, who served as the Deputy Executive Director in the Office of the Vice President, has been appointed as Executive Director in the Office of the President. Another appointment is that of Teofilus Nghitila as Executive Director in the Ministry of Environment and Tourism. Before this appointment, Nghitila served as Environment Commissioner. Their appointments take place with immediate effect and will be valid for a five year period.
