The former Prime Minister of Kenya is urging the African Union (AU) and Southern Africa Development Community (SADC) to find a lasting solution to the political situation in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). Raila Odinga says the circumstances under which the elections took place on 30 December is an indication that intervention is needed. Odinga is no stranger to tense and disputed elections.
