The Reparations and Genocide Committees reiterated their position to be part of the reparations negotiating team, saying they owe it to the OvaHerero and Nama communities to whom the extermination order was directed. The group says it is not disputing the intention of the government in representing descendants of the 1904-1908 war in talks with Germany. The Committees held closed door meetings with the cabinet political committee.
