The Namibia Wholesale Retail Workers Union has expressed disappointment over unfair labour relations in the country. The union demands that the Minister of Labour makes sure that the rights of the workers are protected, which it says is currently under attack by greedy labour consultants or family firms. The union blames South African companies like Pep Stores, Shoprite, Foschini and Agra for stopping union deductions of employees without following provisions of the Labour Act.
