Street vendors in Rundu have condemned the council’s move to collect their tables from their stalls after they were ordered to vacate the premises, in compliance with the state of emergency regulations. Vendors questioned the council’s motive to remove the tables, particularly after giving them the assurance that they would be allowed to return to their stalls, once the state of emergency comes to an end.
