The Rundu Town Council says the recruitment process followed in filling its vacant position of the chief executive officer (CEO) was done procedurally. Rundu Mayor Isak Kandingu, in an interview with NAMPA, says the process was done in compliance with provisions of the Local Authority Act, and the recruitment and selection regulations for local authorities. Kandingu says necessary consultations were also done with the Ministry of Urban and Rural Development .
