SADC Chairperson Dr. Hage Geingob arrived in Gaborone, Botswana, for a one-day official visit to SADC headquarters. Dr Geingob will review the region’s programs and implementation thereof. He will also address the SADC Secretariat on Friday. His delegation includes the Minister of International Relations and Cooperation Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, senior government officials and advisors. Dr Geingob was received at the Sir Seretse Khama International Airport by Nandi-Ndaitwah, Namibia’s High Commissioner to Botswana Asser Kapere, Botswana Foreign Affairs Minister Unity Dow, and SADC Executive Secretary Dr Stergomena Lawrence-Tax. During his visit to Botswana, President Geingob is also expected to have a courtesy meeting with Botswana President, Mokgweetsi Masisi.
