It is alleged that a former employee of the Ministry of Health and Social Services visited to his former place of work where he shot two of his former colleagues. One has died while the other sustained injuries and was rushed to the Roman Catholic Hospital. The suspect escaped the scene but handed himself over to Wanaheda police. Nampol’s Deputy Commissioner Edwin Kanguatjivi could not provide more information as to what led to the shooting. He said the police are still investigating the shooting incident that took place between 11h00 and 12h00 at the City Centre building in the central business district. Nampol’s Khomas regional crime coordinator Sylvanus Nghishidimbwa confirmed that the victims are both female.
