The names of four of the six people who died in an accident on the Windhoek-Rehoboth road on Tuesday, have been released. Namibian Police Force Spokesperson, Slogan Matheus, identified the deceased as 46-year-old Mulapo Ndjwaghu, 33-year-old Daniel Fulayi, 29-year-old Haingura Mujeu and 47-year-old Emergad Haisindi. Nampa reports that the deceased are all from villages in the Kavango East and West regions. Five other people sustained serious injuries, while 13 were slightly injured. Preliminary investigations indicate that the Iveco bus with 24 occupants, including driver, hit a tree near the Omeya Golf Estate, after trying to avoid hitting a cow. The bus was on its way from Rundu in Kavango East to Noordoewer in //Karas region.
