Traditional healers in the Eastern Cape want to be categorised as essential services under the state of disaster regulations. They’re banned from performing ancestral rituals as a measure to prevent the spread of Coronavirus. Their patients are no longer allowed to consult in groups. Traditional healers say medical health practitioners are being advantaged by the lockdown regulations.
