Family and friends of the late Victor Samuel described him as a true revolutionary leader who contributed to the attainment of the country’s independence. Samuel, a resident of the Onamhinda village in Ohangwena was the first black postmaster during the apartheid era in northern Namibia from 1952 to 1988.
