The suspected anthrax outbreak in the Kavango Rivier is yet to be confirmed. Until further notice, communities living along the Kavango river have been warned to stay away from the river. This follows the discovery of more than 100 hippo and scores of water buffalo carcasses by officials of the Ministry of Environment and Tourism in recent days.
