Suspended Agricultural Business Development (AGRIBUSDEV) chief executive officer Petrus Linekela Uugwanga allegedly committed suicide in Otjomuise today. He was 47 years old. He reportedly shot himself in the chest at about 14h22 in his car. Police say there was no suicide note. A pump-action shotgun was found a few metres from the body. The body was lying next to a grey Amarok bakkie, which is registered in the name of the deceased. The motive is not known and there was no suicide note left behind. His next of kin have been informed.
