The Swakopmund Secondary School in the Erongo region celebrates its 40th anniversary this weekend. Education, Arts and Culture Minister Katrina Hanse-Himarwa is expected to give the keynote address in three-days. The Principal, Sinvula Sibanga, says the school had been giving quality teaching over the past 40 years. He says its former pupils are now productive citizens, who are employed in the various government ministries and other private companies. Sibanga, therefore, called on all former learners to attend the celebration. The school, which opened in 1976, accommodates 1 160 pupils, 45 teachers and 12 support staff.
