The Swakopmund Municipality has approved a budget of N$521 million for the 2018/2019 financial year. An amount of N$141 million dollars is allocated towards capital projects while almost N$380 million is earmarked for operational budget. The council budget is tabled in terms of the provision of section 83 of the Local Authority Act of 1992.
