Swapo has held a parade through the streets of Windhoek as a warm-up to the November elections. Dressed in their colourful Swapo regalia, members of the party and its supporters took part in the procession down the streets of Windhoek. The parade started at the party’s headquarters, to Rocky Crest, and ended in Katutura at Ombili Residential Area of the Tobias Hainyeko Constituency. They excitedly sang political songs and recited Swapo slogans at an event that drew the attention of many.
