The new SWAPO Party Think Tank members have been called to devote their time to ensure that the party achieves its objectives. The call was made by SWAPO Secretary General Sophia Shaningwa during the inauguration of the team. The SWAPO Party Think Tank was established to provide evidence-based policy options on political, economic, social, scientific and technological issues and report back to the Secretary General and the Politburo.
