The seventh Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD 7) has adopted a declaration to advance development through people, technology and innovation. The declaration states that development programmes under TICAD should be aligned to Africa’s Agenda 2063 as well as to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
