The Minister of Environment and Tourism is happy with the management of wildlife at the Mangetti National Park. Pohamba Shifeta says this will uplift the livelihoods of communities through wildlife conservation. Recent developments at the park have increased the animal population and trophy hunting has also started in the area. Shifeta, who visited park recently, says plans are underway to establish a lodge in the park, to attract more visitors.
