A study has revealed that up to 80% of all cyber crimes go unreported due to lack of awareness of the crime. In order to reduce this number, 25 Namibian Police officers are going through training in computer forensics and cyber crime investigations in Windhoek. Cyber crime is a crime that involves computers and internet networks. According to media reports, Namibia is now a top destination in Africa for these type of crimes as the country has a relatively low-cost in its communication networks.
