A two-year-old girl suffering from a spinal tumour who has been unable to get medical attention is now admitted at the Oshakati Intermediate Hospital for treatment. Ndapandula Erastus from Oshikango village has been suffering at home for almost a year as her mother has no money for transport to take her to the Oshakati Intermediate hospital. After NBC news reported on her plight, the Engela District Hospital in the Ohangwena region organised an Ambulance that transported her to the hospital on Thursday morning. Her 28-year-old mother Justina Hamutenya told us over the phone that she was excited that her child is now able to get help. She applauded all the good Samaritans who helped her and facilitated for her transport. Ndapandula was born with what appeared to be a small wound on her lower back which affected her backbone and spinal cord leaving her paralyzed from below the waist.
