Namibians woke up to the news that two ministers are implicated in an international fishing bribery scandal, involving Iceland’s fishing company Samherji. Fisheries Minister, Bernhardt Esau and Justice Minister Sackey Shangala have resigned from their positions, following the revelations. The leader of the main opposition McHenry Venaani wants James Hatuikulipi, Chairperson of Fishcor fired as he is also implicated in the same scandal. Venaani made the call when he addressed a media conference this morning.
