Water supply to central coastal areas and Windhoek in particular has not yet been secured. The Minister of Agriculture, Water and Forestry, Alpheus !Naruseb says this is despite previous efforts to provide water solutions to these areas. !Naruseb was speaking at a consultative workshop with stakeholders looking at the viability of a desalination plant and water carriage system.
