A second person involved in a head-on collision between two minibusses on the Hosea Kutako Airport road has died in the Katutura Hospital. Namibian Police Force (NAMPOL) Spokesperson, Deputy Commissioner Kauna Shikwambi says 54-year-old Charlotte Winkler, an employee of the Ministry of Finance is the second victim to succumb to injuries sustained in that accident. The deceased’s next of kin have been informed of her death. The accident occurred two days ago at the turn-off to the University of Namibia’s Neudamm Campus. That campus is 30-kilometres east of Windhoek and 10 kilometres before the Hosea Kutako International Airport (HKIA). Forty-year-old Quenerely Xamises died on the spot. Twenty-five-people were involved in the accident and 23 of them were admitted to the hospital. The people were injured when an Iveco bus transporting 15 immigration officers from Windhoek collided head-on with a Toyota Quantum with 10 occupants.
