Minister of Sport, Youth and National Services, Agnes Tjongarero launched the 13th National Youth Week under the theme ‘Namibian Youth Response to COVID-19’. She said the ministry is dedicated to fighting the pandemic through the initiative which is meant to convey messages to the youth and educate them on COVID-19. Tjongarero added that the initiative will embark on a four-day door to door campaign to enhance the initiative. She said the youth have been affected by the pandemic in business and education. The minister said the restriction of movement can cause anxiety and stress among the youth, therefore, called on them to be patient and follow the stipulated guidelines. She said this at the COVID-19 Communication Centre today.
