74 000 jobs lost during the past three years due to drought and plunging fish stocks

At least 74 000 jobs were lost in both the agricultural and fishing sectors, due to the drought and plunging fish stocks over the last three years. The hardest hit regions are Omusati where 23 000 jobs were lost, whilst Kunene, Ohangwena and Oshikoto regions recorded an average loss of 7 000 jobs.
