Muesee Kazapua has been re-elected as the City of Windhoek mayor, while Teckla Uugwanga will serve as deputy mayor for the year 2018. The swearing in was done by Magistrate Justine Asino, at the council chambers. Kazapua has been mayor since 2014, when he replaced Agnes Kafula, whilst Uugwangwa replaced former deputy mayor Fransina Kahungu.

Born 4 June 1973, at the Nasisangani Village in the Zambezi Region, Lizazi started as a freelance gardener in April 2014.
